Premier League Competition 2006/07  

 
COMPETITION RULES

1. Predict the league positions at the end of each month between September 2006 and April 2007 inclusive and at the end of the 2006/07 season.
2. Entry fee £5.00
3. The winner at the end of each month (see rule 8) and at the end of the season is the person with the highest number of points calculated as follows :
Exact position for a team – 10 points
  1 Place above or below – 7 points
  2 places above or below – 4 points
  3 places above or below – 1 point
4. In the event of a tie the tie – break assessments are used to ascertain the winner:
1st tie–break Scottish Premier League champions
2nd tie–break English Championship champions
3rd tie–break English Championship runners-up
5. In the event that there is no clear winner after each of the tie breaks which apply in order and not as a single tie – break then the winner will be determined by whoever has the most correct positions predicted 6. 7. The prizes are :
1st prize for end of season positions £150
2nd prize £100
3rd prize £50

8. The league table will be updated each week with results of matches held over to Sunday and Monday from the weekend fixtures being included, unless these days fall in the next month, when they will not be included. If the month end falls during the middle of the week, any games played between the weekend and the month end will be included.
